Just think! God wrote a Book that is meant to be read.
It has a beginning and an end, and even a middle. The story He gave us was "His Story" (from His point of view) and then even gave us instructions on how to live so as to have a role in His story--if we'd only read it and believe it and heed it).
2 Timothy 3 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
And, just so there were no surprises, He even laid out what came of those that chose NOT to read it, believe it and heed it.
Revelation 20 11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 3 5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
This doesn't tell the half of it, but....
